As long as you meet the requirements set by the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or the relevant licensing authority in your area, you have the right to take the test. The training company may provide guidance and support to help you prepare for the test, but ultimately the decision to take the test is up to you. If the training company is trying to prevent you from taking the test, you may want to seek advice from the DMV or a legal professional. **
