Yes, there are two main types of Tashahhud in Islamic prayer. The first type is recited in the sitting position after the second Rak'ah (unit of prayer) in a two-unit prayer, and it is known as Tashahhud al-Awwal. The second type is recited in the final sitting position before ending the prayer, and it is known as Tashahhud al-Akhir. Both types of Tashahhud include specific phrases and supplications praising Allah and sending blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad. **

During Tashahhud, I keep my right hand on my right thigh with my fingers closed together and pointing towards the Qibla. I use my index finger to point and move it up and down when reciting the Shahada. The rest of my fingers remain closed together throughout the Tashahhud. It is important to maintain a respectful and focused posture during this part of the prayer. **

During the Tashahhud, the fingers of the right hand are typically raised and slightly bent, with the index finger pointing upwards. The movement involves gently moving the finger up and down while reciting the Shahada (testimony of faith). Some people choose to keep the finger raised throughout the entire Tashahhud, while others may only raise it when saying specific parts of the Shahada. It is important to maintain a sense of humility and focus during this part of the prayer. **

Yes, the Tashahhud is an essential part of the prayer for Muslims. It is recited in the sitting position during the final rak'ah (unit) of the prayer. It is a crucial part of the prayer and is recited as a way to express one's belief and devotion to Allah. **

In Islamic prayer, the Tashahhud is a crucial part of the prayer where one recites blessings upon the Prophet Muhammad. If one forgets to recite the blessing in the Tashahhud, the prayer is still considered valid. However, it is recommended to perform the prostrations of forgetfulness (Sujood As-Sahw) at the end of the prayer to seek forgiveness for the mistake. It is important to strive for attentiveness and correctness in prayer, but Allah is merciful and understanding of human forgetfulness. **
